‍What is Women's Equality Day? ♀️

Women's Equality Day is observed on August 26th every year in the United States. Women's Equality Day celebrates women's suffrage and the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. The amendment was certified on August 26, 1920, after a long and hard-fought battle by the women's suffrage movement and women's rights activists.

Women's Equality Day serves as a reminder of the progress made in the fight for gender equality and women's rights, particularly in the realm of political participation. It also acknowledges the ongoing work required to achieve full gender equality in all aspects of life. The day is often marked by various events, including rallies, panel discussions, workshops, and educational programs, highlighting the achievements of women and raising awareness about the remaining challenges they face.

How can your company celebrate Women's Equality Day? 🤔
