Women in Cacao: Chocolate Tasting

Join us for an educational tasting and presentation about cacao farmers, fermenters, importers, and chocolate makers who are creating ethical and sustainable chocolate. We will discuss direct trade, traceability, and how these amazing makers are empowering both women and their cacao growing communities.
This class typically covers:
- A short introduction on the history of chocolate
- An explanation of the process from cocoa bean to bar
- Tasting and describing at least 6 varieties of chocolate
🥛 Dietary Accommodations: Vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free options available at no additional cost.
🥜 Note: All kits come from a facility containing known food allergens, including, but not limited to: wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and various fruits.
📦 Shipping: Shipping is available to the U.S., excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Canadian shipping is available for an additional charge of $40 per person, which will be applied once the address collection form is closed. No P.O. boxes or Fetch addresses.
Shipping in the U.S. requires additional fees during warm weather conditions. Due to possibilities of shipping delays with international shipping in warm weather conditions, chocolate may arrive melted or bloomed but can still be enjoyed for this experience.
