How do classes with kits work?

When you book a class with a kit, we send participants all of the ingredients or supplies that they need.

**Address collection:** Once payment is received, our team will send you an address collection form and invite text to relay to your team. 📄

**Shipment tracking:** We’ll also provide a master tracking sheet which you can use to track submissions as well as tracking information once kits have shipped. ✅

Can I request a specific host?

Accepted Answer

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for the Whiskey Tasting & Networking Mixer, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

What is included in the kit?

You can find information about kit contents in the 'includes' section towards the top of the page. Please note that kit contents may differ from the pictures displayed here as we may work with several vendors to create your handcrafted kits. If you need more info, please reach out to event support or chat with us directly on the website for more details.

Question 4

Do you offer non-alcoholic kits?

Unfortunately, we don't have a non-alcoholic option for the Whiskey Tasting & Networking Mixer. As an alternative, check out our [Virtual Mixology Class](https://www.withconfetti.com/product/virtual-mixology-class). We offer mocktail kits for any participants who don't consume alcohol but still want to participate!

What's the difference between whiskey and bourbon?

Accepted Answer

**All bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon!**

[For a whiskey to be considered bourbon](https://www.worldwhiskyday.com/what-is-bourbon/#:~:text=3.,least%2051%20per%20cent%20corn.), its mash—the mixture of grains from which the product is distilled—must contain at least 51% corn. (The rest of the mash is usually filled out with malted barley and either rye or wheat.) The mash must be distilled at 160 proof or less, put into the barrel at 125 proof or less, and it must not contain any additives. The distillate must be aged in a new charred oak barrel.

Can this experience be shortened?

The Whiskey Tasting & Networking Mixer can be customized based on your preference. We have options for a 15-minute, 30-minute, and 45-minute whiskey tasting with time for your team to lead your own intro, pitch, product demo, or discussion.

When is the deadline to collect addresses?

Accepted Answer

The deadline to collect addresses will be EOD **13 business days** from your event date. If you're looking to have an event sooner than 13 business days, your deadline will be EOD **10 business days** and will require rush processing. The cost of rush processing can be found under the shipping upgrades section of the experience page.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only offer shipping to the US & Canada for this experience. 🇺🇸 US shipping is free. 🇨🇦 Canadian shipping costs an additional $100 per person.

We are unable to ship to AK, HI, or PR. Talk to your booking consultant about adding BYO participants to accommodate international team members!
