Participants will learn how to make a Juneteenth and Black Pride inspired cocktail, while learning about the real stories and history that inspired each drink. Our featured drinks for this class include a Red Order No. 3, a lemonade cocktail that follows the Juneteenth tradition of celebrating with red food and drink, and a Hot Peaches cocktail, inspired by transgender activist and drag queen performer, Marsha P. Johnson.
Dive into cocktail making basics, including how to:
- Craft 2 cocktails (Make 1 serving of each recipe)
- Master bartending skills and mixology techniques
- Pair ingredients and flavors so you can create your own custom cocktails later
Followed by a Q&A.
In between drinks, mingle, ask questions, and of course... sip.
