How do BYO experiences work?

Our [BYO experiences](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372684-byo-experiences) are budget-friendly and super easy to coordinate for any team. Because these experiences do not require shipping, they are the perfect option for international teams.

After booking, event support will share a shopping list of everything you need. 🛒 The items on our shopping lists are designed to be flexible, accessible, and affordable. If you’d like, you can even send an [online gift card](https://www.withconfetti.com/product/online-gift-card) to give your team a budget to purchase their own items. Please note costs may differ based on region and availability.

As with any Confetti event, you’ll hop on a Zoom call with a host that will lead the experience with your team!

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for the BYO Donut Making Class, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please reach out to our Support Team and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

Question 3

Can everyone on my team pick their own donut flavor?

To make it easy for everyone to follow along, we ask our customers to select **one donut flavor for the entire class**. Currently, we are offering: vanilla glazed donuts, chocolate glazed donuts, and other seasonal flavors.

Question 4

Can donuts be made vegan/dairy-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants can source their own vegan alternatives (milk, eggs, and butter). Using an egg substitute for the Bronuts recipe is **not** recommended.

Question 5

Will participants with dietary restrictions be able to follow along?

Accepted Answer

Any of our classes that have vegan or gluten-free options are set up as a 1:1 swap, so participants can easily follow along.

If participants need further assistance, our hosts will do their best to answer any specific questions throughout.

How does the gift card add-on work?

Our [online gift cards](https://www.withconfetti.com/product/online-gift-card) are a great way to give your team a budget to purchase the items needed to participate in the BYO Donut Making Class.

Please note that gift cards may not cover the entire cost of items as costs may vary based on participant location, brand preference, etc. If you want to give your team a little more flexibility, we recommend selecting the higher gift card amount.

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

Participants will need about 60 minutes for the BYO Donut Making Class. Pumpkin spice donuts can take up to 90 minutes, so if you are short on time, please choose one of our other donut recipes instead.
