Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Trivia Kickball, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

Question 2

How does this experience change when it's run as a hybrid event?

Accepted Answer

**Structure of the game:** This experience runs the same for both virtual and hybrid formats.

**Tech setup:** For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup, so at least one computer is needed to connect to the Zoom! In-person participants will need the ability to use a microphone feature to give answers throughout the game.

What if the player doesn't know the answer?

If players are feeling stumped, they can get help from their team by:

* **Using a designated kicker:** Another teammate can take a guess
* **Asking the coach:** The host will give a clue
* **Asking the bench:** The team will have a quick moment to give the kicker hints through charades

Teams will get one of each assist at the beginning of each round.

What is the level of difficulty for this game?

Difficulty is subjective! We try to make all of our games fun but the right amount of challenging. Trivia is definitely a knowledge-based game. That being said, it is still a great team building experience, and there’s always the potential for sparkle points. 😉

Is this game work appropriate and international friendly?

Our games are designed with corporate teams in mind and, based on customer input, we consider this game to be international-friendly! However, we are a U.S.-based team and some questions may require basic knowledge of U.S. pop culture.

Please make sure to enter your group details and any other relevant info in the ‘context for your host’ section of your event briefing after booking. We can’t guarantee content adjustments, but we gladly welcome feedback.

Can I see the list of questions and answers beforehand?

As company policy, we do not provide Trivia Kickball game content for approval ahead of time (and to prevent spoilers!) but rest assured that our games team creates and vets all of the questions for our hosted game experiences. 💪

Question 7

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

Trivia Kickball lasts around 60 minutes. Our hosts try to keep gameplay as close to schedule as possible, but there may be some fluctuations based on introductions, group size, and group dynamics.

If you would like this experience shortened to 45 minutes, let us know in the special requests section. Please note that some content will have to be omitted for a shorter duration. In addition, we cannot accommodate any price adjustments.

Can we play Trivia Kickball without the charity component?

Trivia Kickball comes with a free donation — courtesy of Confetti! If your team is unable to participate in charity, you can opt out of this part by letting event support know in the 'special requests' section.

Question 9

How many winners are there? Can we award prizes?

Accepted Answer

Prizes are **not** included or required. You're welcome to source your own prizes, just drop us a note in the 'special requests' section **ahead of time**. There will be one winning team with between 5-20 players depending on final headcount.

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts always do their best to catch a screenshot at the end of your event. If you would like a photo, feel free to remind your host at the start of your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** This event can be recorded. To ensure a recording is taken, **please request one from your host at the start of your event** - they’re happy to accommodate when asked!
