Frida Kahlo Headband Making Class
$89 USD / personFlower power!
Frida Kahlo is one of the most famous Mexican painters, known for her use of bright colors in paintings. She is often shown wearing floral ornaments in her hair, which she picked from her garden to accent her traditional Tehuana hairdos and dresses.
Our host will guide you through all the steps of creating a decorative faux flower headband inspired by Frida Kahlo. Participants will be wrapping, tying, and decorating their headbands to make their own individual creations.
While you tap into your creativity, learn about the life of Frida Kahlo, how she came to be known for her flower crowns, and their significance in a larger cultural context — an enduring symbol of Mexican heritage, our cosmic connection to nature, and feminine energy.
