What is a hybrid event? How does it work?

**[Confetti hybrid events](https://www.withconfetti.com/resources/document/hybrid-events)** combine **in-person** and **virtual** components to create an exciting, interactive experience that can be enjoyed by teams working in-office and at home. 🤝 Whether you're joining from your couch or from a conference room filled with coworkers, our friendly and engaging host will ensure that all your team members have a fun and fabulous time!

For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup. Individuals can also choose to dial-in from their own computers. Either way, please make sure that the host is able to see all of the participants and vice versa. In addition, participants will also need to be able to enter a non-numeric password.

Although all Confetti hybrid experiences come with remote, real-time **Zoom tech support**, it's important to note that A/V equipment and A/V setup is not included.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Winter Holidays Around the World, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

What holidays does this celebrate?

Winter Holidays Around the World is not specific to one holiday in particular and touches on multiple winter holidays that celebrate the festive time of year (e.g. Krampusnacht, Diwali, etc.).

Inclusivity is important to us and we ensure that it is a part of all of our offerings.

If you have strong company values/hopes for the experience that you’d like us to accommodate, please let us know in the ‘special request’ section.

Is this experience interactive?

Winter Holidays Around the World is led by a live host, who will present information using an educational slideshow and interactive games. Participants will be able to submit their answers through polls. For the scavenger hunt game, a select few participants will compete in the main Zoom room. For the most interactive experience, we encourage you to have your cameras on and ask questions throughout!

Can this experience be shortened?

Winter Holidays Around the World can be shortened to 45 minutes, just make sure to let us know in the special requests section.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 60 minutes. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration.

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts always do their best to catch a screenshot at the end of your event. If you would like a photo, feel free to remind your host at the start of your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** This event can be recorded. To ensure a recording is taken, **please request one from your host at the start of your event** - they’re happy to accommodate when asked!
