Veteran Allyship in the Workplace

Veterans bring a unique set of experiences, perspectives, and skills and values to the workplace. In an interactive lecture-based discussion, a veteran host will lead your team through an insightful allyship workshop, including:

• A brief overview on military basics to build a foundational understanding
• How skills, leadership styles, and experiences gained through military service may translate in the workplace
• How to be a better ally through actively supporting and advocating for veteran colleagues
• Resources to help individuals and workplaces provide ongoing support

Based on your answers from a pre-workshop questionnaire, our host will customize the experience based on your group and their goals.

This course is designed for both veterans and non-veterans who want to make a real impact. Gain the knowledge and tools you need to support veterans with respect, understanding, and purpose.

Note: This is a personal and engaging experience, which requires participation for value. Participants should come with an open mindset and ready to contribute to the conversation. Our instructor will create an open and welcoming space for participants to ask any questions or share thoughts about their own experience at the end.
