How it works
Our Deskercise Class takes modern yoga exercises and adapts them to the seated position for easy stretches you can incorporate into your everyday routine. Beginning with a brief meditation session, our instructor will guide you through simple desk stretching and movements that will relax and renew your body and mind.
Flowing from small to larger movements, participants will learn:
- The benefits of chair yoga
- Arm, neck, and back stretch techniques
- How to pair movement and breath
- Mindfulness and meditation exercises
No equipment or experience needed (just your chair)! Perfect for newbies or experienced yogis who want to try something new.
Deskercise was the perfect way to get our minds and bodies ready for the day ahead. Shiho was attentive, informative, and helpful. A really awesome instructor!
I thought the class was great – Jamie was relatable, engaging, and knowledgeable. Sometimes virtual fitness classes can be awkward, but she did an awesome job.
