Confetti uses Zoom to host all of our virtual experiences! Weโve chosen Zoom as our primary platform because its features allow our hosts to deliver the most engaging and high-energy events possible.
Once your event is booked, your unique Zoom link will be waiting for you in your Event Briefing. Itโs your "golden ticket" to the fun!
๐ Joining Your Event
The best part? You don't need a Zoom account or a paid license to join a Confetti event. We provide the meeting space, so all you and your team need to do is click the link and show up ready to play.
While we strongly recommend downloading the Zoom desktop application for the most stable experience, participants can also join directly from their web browser if their company security settings require it.
โ๏ธ Tech Setup & Access
We want your event to start without a hitch! Our Zoom links come with the password "embedded," which means you typically won't have to type it in - it's a simple one-click entry.
Pro-Tip for Conference Rooms: If you are joining from a shared office setup or a conference room system that requires manual input of the Meeting ID and Password, we recommend testing the link a day or two before the event. This ensures your hardware is compatible with alphabetical passwords and that everything is clear for takeoff on event day.

๐ Rescheduling & Account Changes
Life happens, and plans change! Weโve designed our platform to be as flexible as possible so your tech stays simple even when your schedule shifts.
Event Rescheduling: If you need to move your event to a new date or time, your Zoom meeting link remains exactly the same.
Account Transfers: If the person organizing the event changes, the Zoom link stays consistent. This ensures a seamless handoff and zero confusion for your participants.
๐ Using Your Own Zoom Meeting Link
While we love the reliability of our own setup, the Confetti team is happy to accommodate your teamโs Zoom link! If your company requires the use of your own Zoom link for security or internal tracking, you can certainly provide your own link for the event.
To ensure your experience runs smoothly and our host can lead the fun without a hitch, there are a few specific settings youโll need to adjust in your Zoom meeting before we hop on.๐
Ensure 'Participants can join at any time' is selected
Waiting room is disabled
Host capabilities (i.e. making our host the 'host'!)
Screen sharing
Audio sharing
Chat functionality
Breakout rooms
Meetings cannot require prior registration - Due to company policy we cannot provide contact information for our hosts

Opting to use your own meeting link means forfeiting tech support from Confetti. While we will always do our best to troubleshoot issues if they arise, we have very limited ability to do so when not using a Confetti Zoom link.
๐ ๏ธ Hosting on a Platform Besides Zoom
At this time, our experiences can only be hosted on Zoom. Confetti experiences are designed around Zoom's specific functionalities including hosting capabilities, screen sharing, audio/video sharing, breakout rooms, and chat functionality.
Our hosts are fully trained to provide the best experience possible using Zoom and our dedicated Support team is also prepared with the necessary technical knowledge should an issue arise. And because weโre on one unified platform, using Zoom allows us to uphold our Happiness Commitment for customers!
Our Zoom is completely free to use! A Zoom download is strongly recommended, but you can also access Zoom from your browser, if needed. A lot of companies with policies restricting the use of Zoom have ultimately been able to get approval to make an exception since this is purely a culture-building team event.
