🚞 Shipping & Receiving Kits for Your Experience
Once you've submitted all participant addresses, you're one step closer to an unforgettable event! 🎉 Here's everything you need to know about how and when your kits will be shipped, what to expect, and how we handle any bumps along the way.
🗓️ When Your Kits Will Ship
Kits are shipped once your address collection form has closed and we've confirmed all submitted addresses. Depending on the experience, we may have two types of shipments:
Initial Order Shipments: These are monitored closely by our team to ensure delivery at least 3 days prior to your event.
Secondary Order Shipments: These are for any late additions (when available) and are expedited but not guaranteed to arrive before your event date.
You'll be able to see in your Submissions Page which participants were part of your Initial or Secondary Shipment by opening up their details by clicking on the participant.
⏰ Shipping Timelines
Confetti aims for all kits to arrive only a few days before your event date — typically 2–4 days in advance. This timing ensures materials stay fresh and event-ready, without sitting too long at a participant’s home or office. For non-perishable kits, we may deliver earlier since there's no concern with freshness.
We plan shipping timelines this way for a few key reasons:
Freshness & Quality: For kits containing perishable or temperature-sensitive ingredients, shipping too early could risk spoilage or damage.
Coordination & Control: A delivery window close to your event aims to avoid issues with participants traveling before the event and missing their kit delivery, and helps us maximize your time for collecting addresses.
Because Confetti works with a wide network of vendors and carriers, we can’t guarantee exact delivery windows in advance. Weather, carrier delays, vendor shipping volume, or regional logistics can affect timing. Rest assured — our system automatically flags any delays, and we’ll take proactive steps to resolve them if there’s any concern your team won’t receive kits in time.
📬 Tracking Information
As soon as your kits are shipped, you’ll be notified directly from us via email. Tracking information will be uploaded into your Submissions Page for you to check on whenever you'd like! The Confetti team monitors these shipments closely, read more on how we handle this below.
🛟 Delays, Damage, or Missing Items
We know how important your event is, and we’re here to help if anything goes wrong:
Delayed Shipments: If you or a participant notice a kit is delayed, we’re likely already on it! Our team actively monitors all initial shipments and will arrange a backup plan or replacement as needed.
Damaged, Spoiled, or Missing Items: We will work quickly to make it right as soon as you notify us of an issue. Depending on timing and product availability, this may be:
A new kit shipped directly from the vendor
A local delivery of similar materials
Only if neither of the above are viable options, a gift card to purchase backup materials
If you or your participants notice a problem with a kit, fill out your booking's Shipping Outreach Form as soon as possible. If you're having any trouble or don't have time, no worries - you can also submit our Contact Us Form and we’ll make sure the issues get handled ASAP, just be sure to include all relevant details to help us help you faster!
🌎 International Shipments & Customs
If your kits are being shipped internationally, rest assured:
You and your team should never pay customs fees. Confetti or our vendors cover these costs.
If you’re asked to pay a customs fee, let us know. If the fee was paid accidentally, we’ll usually reimburse with a gift card for the amount paid.
🚚 Delivery Attempts & Rejected Packages
Some kits (like those containing alcohol) may require a signature.
If no one is available to sign, the carrier will usually make up to 3 delivery attempts.
After multiple failed attempts, the package may be returned to sender. Replacing packages returned to sender because of this is not covered by Confetti.
We always recommend using a personal/home address where someone will be available to receive the kit - business addresses sometimes have specific delivery windows that cannot be accommodated.
✏️ Updating Addresses After Shipping
Once a package is shipped, unfortunately we cannot update or reroute the delivery address. Some carriers may offer this feature, but using it forfeits the shipping insurance on the package — meaning we may not be able to offer a replacement if it’s lost or damaged.
📦 Re-Shipping Kits (If You Need to Forward One)
If you're receiving kits on behalf of others and plan to re-ship them yourself, just keep in mind:
Confetti can’t guarantee the quality of kits that are forwarded elsewhere.
Items may spoil, break, or arrive too late due to the extra time in transit.
🪠 What to Do When Kits Arrive
Once you receive your kit:
Open it to confirm everything is included and in good condition.
Let us know immediately if anything is missing or not right — the sooner we know, the faster we can fix it!
Store it in a safe place so you’re ready for event day. Some kits may contain perishable items, so please check for any special handling instructions.

If your tracking link shows no movement or says “delivered” but you haven’t received the kit:
Double-check the delivery address you submitted.
Look around your mailbox, building lobby, or with neighbors.
If still missing, reach out to our team or fill out the Shipping Outreach Form.
