📬 How Address Collection Works

For any Confetti experience (like Mixology Classes, Chocolate Tastings, or Craft Workshops) or gifting (like our Whiskey & Snack Box) that includes shipped kits, we’ll provide a secure form to help you collect shipping addresses from your participants. This ensures everyone gets their materials sent right to their door!

After you complete your booking and payment, we’ll automatically send you a unique address collection form. This form is what your participants will use to submit their information, and you’ll be able to monitor and manage responses from your Confetti event dashboard.


📅 When You'll Receive Your Form

You’ll get your address collection form as soon as your event is confirmed and paid for. Once you have the form, you can start sharing it with your team right away. The form remains open until your address collection deadline, which you’ll see clearly labeled in your dashboard and in the email we sent including your form.

If you’re unsure of your deadline or need an extension, reach out to the Confetti team. Extensions may not always be possible.


📝 What Information Is Collected

Each participant will be asked to provide:

  • Full name

  • Shipping address

  • Email address*

  • Phone number*

  • Any additional details required for your specific kit

*Participant contact information is used to notify them about shipping updates regarding their package as well as coordinate if any issues arise during shipping.

Here are some examples of additional details that might be requested:

  • Allergen or dietary preferences (when available, for food or drink kits)

  • T-shirt size (for apparel-based kits or swag)

  • Preferred flavors or colors (for kits with customizable components)

  • Confirmation of legal age (for alcohol-related kits)

Rest assured that all data is collected securely and only used for the purpose of shipping kits to your event attendees. For more on how we keep your participants' data safe and private, visit our Trust Center.


🧑‍💻 Managing Submissions

You can manage your submissions easily in your Confetti dashboard. Here’s what you can do:

✏️ Edit or Delete a Submission

If someone made a mistake, they can use the unique link that was sent to them after submitting the form (or our team can help with this as well!). That link allows them to directly access and edit their submission — but only before the address collection deadline. If a submission needs to be removed entirely, the Confetti team can assist with deleting it upon request.

🚫 Cap Submissions

Worried about going over budget? You can cap your address collection form:

  • You can set a submission cap yourself by visiting your Submissions Page and clicking on the "Limit Submissions" option. Just enter the number of participants you'd like to allow, and the form will automatically close once that number is reached. This number can always be replaced or removed later!

🧮 Automatic Headcount Tracking

You don’t need to manually update your headcount — we’ll take care of that based on how many submissions come in. Once the form closes, we’ll prompt you to pay for any additional participants beyond your original booking.


🚚 Shipping Restrictions & Considerations

  • PO Boxes & Business Addresses: We recommend using residential addresses whenever possible. Kits cannot be delivered to PO boxes. Business addresses are generally acceptable; however, we cannot accommodate delivery instructions such as specific drop-off locations or delivery times. We recommend using a residential address if possible, as some businesses may only accept packages during limited hours. If a participant must use a PO box or business address, please reach out to us and we’ll work with you to try and find a solution!

  • Shipping Zones: Not all experiences ship internationally, and some can only be delivered to specific states due to state-level restrictions (some states do not allow alcohol deliveries, for example). If you have team members outside of supported regions, they may be able to participate BYO-style instead (see next section!).

  • Multiple Kits to One Address: We can ship multiple kits to a single location if needed. Reach out to us for help with setting this up!

  • Late Shipments: If you miss your deadline, we might be able to send kits late or offer a Bring Your Own (BYO) option — though availability varies.

  • Rerouting Post-Shipment: Once a package ships, we generally can’t reroute it. If you anticipate changes, reach out before your address collection deadline and we can try to coordinate with you to make sure everyone gets what they need on time.


⏰ Address Collection Deadlines

Your address collection deadline ensures we can source materials, pack, and ship kits in time for your event. You can find your deadline on your submission page as well as in your address collection form:

Here's how deadlines work:

  • Initial Deadline: Standard shipping timeline. If you need more time, we may be able to extend the deadline by creating a Secondary Order, depending on the experience.

  • Secondary Order: Most experiences offer the ability to send a second shipment after the initial address collection deadline. To request this, reach out to our team! If approved, this allows for a 3 business day extension on your form past the Initial Order deadline. Secondary Orders incur Rushed Processing fees and do not include guaranteed timely arrival.

  • Final Deadline Passed? We might still be able to:

    • Add a late participant (without guaranteed timely delivery)

    • Allow them to join BYO-style (if the experience is compatible)


🛍️ BYO Participants (Bring Your Own)

If someone misses the deadline or lives in a non-supported region, they may be able to join BYO-style — meaning they gather their own materials and still participate.

However, not all experiences are BYO-compatible due to specialty materials. Confetti will help you determine what’s possible based on your chosen experience.


🛠️ Additional Information

  • Already Have All Participant Addresses? If you've already collected all the necessary shipping addresses from your attendees outside of Confetti's form, we still recommend submitting them through the form we provide. This ensures everything is organized and tracked properly in our system. If you'd prefer for our team to enter the addresses on your behalf, reach out to us and we’ll provide guidance on next steps or offer to assist with uploading your list.

  • Participants Traveling Before the Event: If one of your attendees is traveling in the days leading up to the event and isn't sure where to have their kit sent, we recommend submitting the address where they will be for the event if someone will be at that address and can receive the kit for them, even if they're not there yet. Kits are typically scheduled to arrive 3 or more days before the event, so using a location where someone can safely receive or hold the package is key.

  • Closing Forms Early: You can choose to close your form early if you’ve hit your participant cap or simply want to finalize your event sooner.

  • Early Shipment: Kits can sometimes be shipped earlier than the standard timeline upon request, depending on vendor availability.
