🗓️ Rescheduling
Need to reschedule your Confetti event? No worries — we make it easy and flexible to move your booking to a new date. Here’s everything you need to know to make it happen smoothly!
✏️ How to Reschedule Your Booking
You can reschedule your event directly from your Confetti account in just a few steps:
Log into your Confetti account and go to your “My Bookings” page.
Locate the event you'd like to reschedule and click into the event card.
Select the “Reschedule” button.
Choose your new preferred date and time.
🔔 Heads up! If your new preferred date is coming up soon — within the lead time window for your experience — it may appear as a yellow date on the calendar during checkout. In these cases, you’ll be prompted to request the new date instead of confirming it right away. Once requested, our team will review availability and follow up via email to confirm or offer alternate options! This helps ensure we can support your requested timing!
Complete checkout to finalize the updated details. Your new date is not finalized until this is completed!
Once a reschedule request is finalized — either because no fee applies or payment is successfully submitted for a rescheduling fee — we'll update your event details and send you an updated event briefing so you're all set!
📖 Understanding Rescheduling & Cancelation Policies
Each experience on Confetti has a unique rescheduling and cancelation policy, typically broken down into these zones:
Green Zone: You’re rescheduling or canceling far enough in advance — no fees apply!
Yellow Zone: You’re getting closer to your event date — a small fee will apply. For cancelation, this means lower or no refund.
Red Zone: You’re within a short window of your event — a higher fee will apply. For cancelation, this means lower or no refund.
📍Where to find your event’s policy:
In your event briefing, under the “Policies” section.
On the product page of your selected experience.
Or contact the Confetti team for help!
🤔 Why We Charge Fees
We don't like charging our customers fees, so we want you to know why we do: We charge fees for rescheduling or canceling events based on how close the change is to your scheduled event time. This helps ensure fairness to our amazing vendors, many of whom are individuals or small businesses. When your event gets close, we still pay them for holding the time slot if you cancel or move your booking, because that time was reserved on their calendar for you. They may not be able to book another client on short notice, and this policy helps protect their livelihood while also keeping things running smoothly on our end.
🕐 Important Timing Notes
⏰ How business days work: Policy zones (like 1 or 2 business days before your event) count backwards from your event's start time. For example, if your event is at 4 PM ET on Monday and your experience's Red Zone starts 1 business day before the event, that Red Zone would begin at 4 PM ET on the Friday before (assuming no holidays in between).
If you email us with a rescheduling request, we honor the timestamp of your email for policy purposes — even if we don't see it right away.
If you're just slightly past a policy cutoff (by less than 2 hours), we may still be able to honor the lower zone fee — just ask!
⌛ Reschedule Date Uncertainty
Not quite sure when your team wants to rebook? That’s totally okay! Instead of choosing a new date right away, we actually recommend canceling your event and receiving a refund (if applicable) to Confetti Credits.
Here’s how that works:
You’ll receive a credit based on your experience’s rescheduling or cancelation policy.
Credits will be stored in your account, ready to use whenever you’re ready to rebook.
This gives you flexibility to choose a new date later — no pressure!
💡 Pro tip: Event calendars fill up quickly during busy seasons like around the holidays. Rebooking early gives you the best chance of landing your preferred time slot.
💛 Fee Flexibility
We understand that sometimes things happen beyond your control, and we don't want fees to add onto already difficult situations. Confetti will waive all rescheduling or cancelation fees in the following situations:
Force Majeure, like major tech or weather disruptions (like power outages or hurricanes)
Kit-related issues that Confetti couldn’t resolve before your event start time (reschedules only)
We can't cover everything here, but if you feel your situation may call for some flexibility, reach out to us and we'll let you know if we can help. 💛
📦 Rescheduling Events with Shipped Kits
If your event includes shipped materials, rescheduling is still possible, but a few extra considerations apply:
If your kits haven’t shipped yet, we’ll process your reschedule normally based on your event policy.
If kits have shipped, reach out to our team and we’ll work with you to find a solution — especially if the reason falls under one of our waived fee scenarios. Some kits have a shelf life and we want to make sure we plan accordingly!
🧠 Handy Reminders
Confetti Credits don’t expire, so they’re a great option if your new event date is still TBD.
💡 Tip: Keep your event's date and rescheduling & cancelation policy in mind — the sooner you reschedule or cancel, the more likely you'll avoid any fees!

❌ Canceling Your Confetti Event
While rescheduling is often the most flexible and budget-friendly option, we understand that sometimes a cancelation is necessary. If you're considering canceling, keep in mind:
Rescheduling is usually cheaper than canceling due to how our policies are structured.
If you’re not sure of your new date yet, you can cancel and opt to receive Confetti Credits, giving you flexibility to rebook when you're ready.
If you’d like to cancel your booking altogether, reach out to the Confetti team and we’ll walk you through your cancelation options based on your event’s policy.
We’re here to help you make the choice that works best for your team! 💛
