📅 Finding Available Dates on Confetti
When planning your experience, choosing the right date and time is one of the first (and most important) steps! Confetti’s platform is designed to make it easy to find availability and understand what’s possible for your event.
🔍 Using Filters for Date Availability
On the Explore page (or on any collection page!), you can filter experiences by:
Date: See only experiences available for the day(s) you’re considering.
Time: Filter by morning, afternoon, or evening to match your team’s schedule.
Other preferences: Combine date availability with filters like group size or experience type to find your perfect fit.
🛒 Choosing a Date During Checkout
When you’ve selected an experience, you’ll be asked to choose your preferred event date and time during checkout.
You’ll first select your time zone (so no mix-ups across teams!).
You’ll then see a calendar view with availability. We show two months at a time, so it’s easier to browse upcoming weeks, but you can book up to 1 year in advance.
🎨 Calendar Color Coding Explained
The calendar uses a color-coded system so you can quickly understand availability:
Green Dates: Fully available – you can book these right away.
Yellow Dates: Within our standard lead time, outside our standard operating hours (8 AM - 10 PM ET), or a high-demand slot. You can select these, but you'll need to request availability for these dates before securing your booking by completing payment.
Disabled/Gray Dates: Not available (either fully booked, too soon for us to complete that booking, or too far in advance).
You’ll also see a clear confirmation message on the payment screen if your date is good to go.
🕒 General Operating Hours
Generally, we offer experience Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM ET, excluding U.S. Holidays.
If you’d like to book outside of these hours, we may be able to accommodate this if you request it on our platform during your checkout process. Extra fees may apply depending on host availability.
💰 Fees for Booking Outside Standard Hours
If your event is outside the 8 AM – 10 PM ET window, our team will do our best to arrange it. Because it requires special coordination, this will come with an after-hours fee which will be shared with you once your booking time slot's availability has been confirmed.
🌟 High Demand Time Slots
Certain time slots, such as weekday afternoons or evenings (especially around holidays), may be in high demand.
These time slots cost more as our team typically finds, vets, onboards, and trains more hosts to ensure we can accommodate as many customers as possible at the same time.
These slots come with a higher minimum spend to ensure that our most popular times are going to the customers who need that time most!
📩 Requesting Availability
If you have a specific date in mind that appears as yellow, you can:
Request availability confirmation right from the checkout page.
Our team will follow up within 1 business day via email to confirm if we can make it work. We're oftentimes much faster than this, and if you're requesting an event within a week we're very fast!
If not, we’ll suggest nearby times or alternative experiences.
⏳ How Far in Advance Can You Book?
You can book up to 1 year in advance. Beyond that, dates are blocked to ensure we can confidently deliver your event.
For last-minute events, dates inside the lead time window may still be possible—just marked as yellow so we can confirm before you complete payment.
