What holiday does this celebrate?

Accepted Answer

Our Holiday Games, including the ones in Holiday Pub Party, are not specific to one holiday in particular and include multiple winter holidays that celebrate the festive time of year (e.g. Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa). They do not skew more towards one than the other and do not include religious undertones at all.

Additionally, our Holiday and Winter themes are globally-friendly! Inclusivity is important to us and we ensure that it is a part of all of our offerings.

If you have strong company values/hopes for the experience that you’d like us to accommodate, please let us know in the ‘special request’ section.

How does Holiday Pub Party work?

Accepted Answer

Everyone will start off in the main room, where the bartender host will explain the different rooms and options. This host will be available throughout to help answer any questions! The live musician will be in the main room for the duration of the event, playing and taking song requests.

There are several breakout rooms where participants can "choose their own adventure" and move freely throughout. These rooms include Holiday Pub Trivia and Holiday Coworker Feud (always included), your game selection(s), and conversation rooms for participants to chat in.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Holiday Pub Party, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

Is this experience international friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We plan for international teams frequently, though some questions featured in the games do require a basic knowledge of US-pop culture.

Please make sure to enter your group details and any other relevant info in the ‘context for your host’ section of your event briefing after booking. We can’t guarantee content adjustments, but we gladly welcome feedback.

Is the music holiday-themed?

The live music for Holiday Pub Party is regular pub style, but holiday requests are definitely encouraged!

Is there a set time frame for each pub activity or do I decide?

Accepted Answer

The fun thing about Holiday Pub Party is that participants can freely move in between rooms to create their own adventure! With the Zoom breakout room feature, participants can choose their own activities and switch it up whenever they like.

Will participants run into any issues if they join late?

Accepted Answer

For those who arrive late, we have our bartender as well as some other friendly Confetti faces "floating" around in the background who are available to answer any questions. Since there will be hosts leading the games in the breakout room, they'll be prepared to integrate anyone who arrives late and make sure they're up to speed to fully participate!

Once you're in the Zoom call, our customers have found the experience to be self-explanatory and super easy to navigate, which is one of the many reasons for its popularity!

Can we set up teams for this event?

Accepted Answer

Due to the free-flowing nature of this event teams cannot be arranged. Some games are played as individuals, and any games that utilize teams will randomize teams based on the players interested in playing at that time.

Can we use something other than Zoom?

Accepted Answer

Due to the technical capabilities needed for this virtual holiday party, we can only use Zoom.

Question 11

Are there winners or prizes for the games?

Accepted Answer

Confetti will provide prizes for the winners of Holiday Coworker Feud, and charity donations for Holiday Pub Trivia! There will not be prizes for any additional game selections.

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

Accepted Answer

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts would be happy to take a picture for your team! If you would like a photo, please note this in the 'special requests' section when booking. You will receive your photo within 1 business day after your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** Due to the use of breakout rooms, we are **not** able to record this event. Thanks for your understanding!

Can we stay on the Zoom after the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you’d like to keep the fun going after your event, you may utilize the Zoom for an additional hour. Please note this in your ‘special requests’.

Question 14

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

Holiday Pub Party can be shortened to 1 hour, just make sure to select your preferred duration option.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 2 hours. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration. In addition, your team may not have enough time to participate in all of the activities.

Can I adjust content for this experience?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Please select a **content rating** to adjust content based on your team’s dynamic.

**Cursing:** Choose **Rated PG** for no cursing or **Anything Goes!** for a more casual and relaxed atmosphere. If you added the Drag Queen Bingo upgrade, the same content rating will also apply.

**References to alcohol:** If your company has restrictions regarding alcohol, please select the Holiday Party theme when booking, and we’ll make sure to omit any references. Note: Alcoholic drinks are not included in the Confetti Pub experience.
