Position Details

Define, Execute, & Optimize!

We're looking for a skilled Head of Marketing with 5-10 years of experience who can help drive the acquisition and retention of users to our platform, employing e-mail and digital marketing strategies and data analysis to drive company growth.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for defining, executing and continuously optimizing the marketing strategy and tactics that will generate customer event bookings as validated through analytics and insights. Through targeted digital and e-mail marketing initiatives, you will spearhead managing and building our lead generation channels and sales pipeline. 

Your efforts will have a huge impact on our overall revenue strategy, which is why we’re looking for someone highly skilled who is excited about trying new marketing strategies, measuring the outcomes, and making changes to improve results!

Our team is exposed to EVERYTHING happening at the company, in real time - from sales to fundraising, hiring, product and really anything else. We believe that each team member should be a co-author of our story, not a supporting actor.

You Have

A data driven mentality, complete with a data geek’s personality. This person should possess excellent analytical skills and leverage data, metrics, analytics and consumer behavior trends to generate creative ideas for driving event bookings and achieving revenue goals.

Demonstrated B2B technology experience in a growth role w/ preference for experience with marketplace products and platforms.

Fluency in ABM strategies (Account-Based Marketing) in conjunction with inbound sales.

Built and executed a marketing platform with full ownership of budgets and developed models and approaches for marketing dollar investment and measurement.

Proven ability to drive both top and bottom-line results.

Experience in holistic growth planning - research, forecasting, planning, execution, and performance analysis.

In-depth knowledge of SEO factors and key algorithm updates as well as backlink building experience. <co-plus>Plus<co-plus>

Proven ability to build and execute targeted and segmented email marketing campaigns.

Demonstrated proficiency with multiple channels of paid marketing - SEM, social, video, and display.

Advanced knowledge of marketing automation across acquisition and retention through the use of a marketing automation platform. HubSpot preferred.

Proven ability to coach and grow talent and organizational capabilities.

Preference for experience with marketplace products and platforms.

You'll Be

Driving vision and integrated strategy for growth marketing efforts across all touch-points, including paid acquisition, SEO, email, retargeting, and lifecycle marketing.

Attracting, develop and retain a talented team that leads the industry in innovation and best practices

Optimizing full marketing funnel for growth, from awareness through retention that acts as the backbone of our strategic approach to growth.

Building analytics and reporting framework, and execute optimization of growth drivers.

Establishing spend models that enable optimal allocation for ecosystem health and ROI positive management of media spend.

Managing and growing vendor relationships and develop integrated solutions across all marketing channels search, social, third-party networks, and programmatic.

Driving lifecycle marketing efforts across email, chat, content, and paid re-marketing to retain and re-engage users.

Driving personalization efforts of lifecycle communications in partnership with product, design, and R&D.

Attracting, developing and retaining a talented team that leads the industry in marketing innovation and best practices.
